Meet founder LaVaughn Brown of Brown Organix

LaVaughn Brown is the founder of Brown Organix, a brand that offers beauty products made with safe and authentic ingredients. After teaching high school English for five years, her passion for healthy hair, clear skin, and overall good health and well-being helped her to formulate a brand that would offer beauty products free of harmful chemicals and fillers. With a focus on using only natural ingredients, Brown Organix is becoming a trusted name in the beauty industry. As the industry continues to shift toward environmental consciousness, LaVaughn’s vision for the company remains at the forefront, ensuring that all products are safe for both people and the planet.

What is your brand story?

“Developing my line of hair and skin care products was a natural extension of my interests and values. As someone who has always enjoyed making things by hand and using natural ingredients, starting my own business was a way to share my knowledge and experience. A few years ago, I cut all of my hair off, and finding that the available products didn’t quite meet my needs, I decided to take matters into my own hands. After some trial and error, I finally created a product that not only helped my hair to grow back quickly but also made it healthy and strong," exclaiming "I then began developing skin care products for my family, who all suffer from eczema."

She continued, "My husband and kids were my first customers, and their positive feedback encouraged me to continue expanding my line. I now source ingredients from all over the world to create unique formulations that are effective and safe for all skin types. Inspired by my success, I decided to share my creations with the world. And thus, Brown Organix was born. Today, we offer a range of all-natural hair and skincare products to help anyone achieve their desired results. Whether you’re looking to grow your hair back after a big chop or want to maintain healthy, glowing skin, Brown Organix has the perfect solution for you.
