RIMOWA and MYKITA Expand Eyewear Partnership With Two New Designs

RIMOWA and MYKITA are expanding their eyewear partnership with two new silhouettes, adding a round Heritage frame and a slimmer Visor shield as the German brands continue to develop the collaboration beyond its initial assortment.

The October 15 release introduces MR007 and MR008 alongside a new black version of the existing MR006 aviator. Distribution includes MYKITA stores, selected RIMOWA locations, retail partners worldwide and both brands’ websites.

Two Design Systems, Different Customer Propositions MR007 builds on the Heritage range’s combination of stainless steel and anodised aluminium rings. Its round shape adds a familiar eyewear archetype to the line.

MR008 develops the Visor concept with a wraparound silhouette, a specially developed toric lens and a MYLON shield clip. The new models are handcrafted at MYKITA HAUS in Berlin, with development shared between Berlin and Cologne.
