The Toronto based Canadian lifestyle brand officially reopened its newly renovated store near Entrance 1 of CF Sherway Gardens in Etobicoke, Ontario, on April 10, 2026, marking the latest chapter in the brand’s ongoing investment in elevated retail experiences across Canada.
A Refreshed Store, A Familiar Home
The renovated Sherway Gardens location brings an elevated Roots experience to life through updated fixtures, a more seamless checkout process, and a design that reflects both the brand’s heritage and its vision for the future. Cadillac Fairview, which operates CF Sherway Gardens, described the renovated location as “a key site in the GTA, designed to further elevate and express the brand’s identity.” The store, located at 25 The West Mall, Unit 3000, carries Women’s, Men’s, Kids’, and Footwear categories, continuing to serve as a full-range destination for Roots customers in the greater Toronto…
area. Part of a Broader Retail Reinvestment The Sherway Gardens refresh is part of a wider, multi year push by Roots to modernize its national store footprint while staying rooted in its cabin inspired heritage aesthetic.
Since 2025, the brand has refreshed several locations across Canada, including a new flagship on Robson Street in Vancouver, a first ever pilot concept store on Yonge Street in Toronto‘s Rosedale neighborhood, and renovations at Vaughan Mills and Mont-Tremblant.
Each location reflects the same design philosophy: brighter, more immersive spaces featuring light wood finishes, archival photography, heritage objects, and streamlined merchandising for a more seamless shopping journey.
