Saks Launches Exclusive Balmain Beach-themed Capsule Collection

Saks recently launched an exclusive beach-themed capsule collection by Balmain, marking a new chapter in their partnership. This collection was inspired by Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing’s memories of summer escapes to beaches in the South of France while growing up in Bordeaux.

The collection blends house signatures with the spirit of a European beach getaway, offering both women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, handbags, and shoes. In addition to the launch of the beach-themed capsule collection, Balmain opened its first-ever handbag shop-in-shop at Saks Fifth Avenue.

This move is part of Balmain’s continued focus on its handbag business, which according to Emily George, president, Americas, at Balmain, is a key priority for their business. The handbag shop was unveiled at the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship in New York, further solidifying the strong bond between the two brands.
