La Samaritaine has unveiled Bons baisers de la Samaritaine (Best Wishes from Samaritaine), running from April 17 to August 26, 2026, at 9 rue de la Monnaie in Paris. The LVMH owned department store has transformed its spaces into a summer long celebration of the postcard, creating an immersive travel themed retail experience.

The vintage postcard serves as the creative thread throughout the department store this season, elevated as both an object of memory and escape. Whether kitsch, idyllic, nostalgic, or whimsical, the postcard enhances reality and brings the joy of receiving handwritten messages in an era of fleeting digital content. Oversized display stands throughout the 9 Rue de la Monnaie location showcase Samaritaine’s own postcards, inviting visitors to write messages that the store will send on their behalf.
