Following stops in Milan, Dubai, Miami, New York, and Shanghai, VILLA ZEGNA arrives in Los Angeles as the latest expression of the brand’s growing lifestyle ecosystem.
For ZEGNA, the world arrives in Los Angeles this week through VILLA ZEGNA, an invitation-only private club experience that transforms the legendary Chateau Marmont into a temporary expression of Italian lifestyle, hospitality, and culture. Following previous editions in Shanghai, New York, Dubai, Miami, and Milan, the Los Angeles chapter introduces a concept deeply rooted in Italian tradition: La Villeggiatura.
La Villeggiatura reflects a distinctly Italian approach to living. Historically, families would relocate for the summer months, bringing their routines, relationships, rituals, and way of life with them. It was not about escaping home. It was about temporarily moving home somewhere else.
ZEGNA Has Built The Entire Los Angeles Experience Around Italian Living.
Opening immediately following the ZEGNA Summer 2027 runway presentation on Malibu Pier, VILLA ZEGNA reimagines Chateau Marmont as a private summer residence where guests are invited to experience the brand’s interpretation of Italian leisure. Rather than creating a traditional event space, the house has constructed an immersive environment designed to feel lived in, personal, and familiar.
At the center of the concept is the Italian phrase “Tutti a casa mia,” which translates to “everyone back to my place.” The expression captures a spontaneous form of hospitality that extends a memorable day into a memorable evening.
ZEGNA uses that sentiment as the foundation for an experience that begins at the Malibu Pier fashion show and continues within the walls of Chateau Marmont. The setting draws inspiration from the way the Zegna family traveled during the 1970s.
Guests encounter an atmosphere that feels somewhere between a nostalgic Italian summer and a Slim Aarons photograph. Poolside conversations, striped umbrellas, aperitivo rituals, vintage newspapers, and leisurely afternoons create a mood that prioritizes connection over spectacle.
Throughout the villa, ZEGNA layers references to its own heritage. Archival-inspired films explore the brand’s history across fashion, travel, and leisure, while design details reference TOP, the cultural magazine published by ZEGNA between 1967 and 1980…
