Gucci opens new luxury salon destination in LA

Gucci has recently unveiled its latest luxury storefront, Gucci Salon, at the intersection of Melrose Place and Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. This bustling shopping district is home to numerous high-end brands such as Chloe, Bottega Veneta, The Row, Marni, Balmain, A.P.C., Isabel Marant, and Oscar de la Renta.

The Gucci Salon draws inspiration from 16th-century Italian gatherings where intellectuals would come together to discuss scientific discoveries, philosophical breakthroughs, and artworks. Today, this exclusive space showcases the fashion house’s most sought-after designs. The interior, designed by Gideon Ponte, a regular Gucci collaborator and lead set and production designer on films like American Psycho and Buffalo ’66, features grand chandeliers, mirrored columns, and velvet couch cushions, adding a touch of Hollywood glamour to the modern outpost.
