UNIQLO Opens First Store in Victoria Opening at Mayfair Mall

UNIQLO, the global apparel giant, is strengthening its presence in Canada by opening its first store in Victoria, British Columbia, at the bustling Mayfair Mall on November 21, 2025. The new 15,000-square-foot outpost will spotlight UNIQLO’s signature LifeWear collection and celebrate the launch with a weekend full of community-driven events, exclusive product offers, and a deep dive into Japanese retail tradition.

Community and Culture at the Forefront To mark the occasion, UNIQLO has curated a lively program: A ribbon-cutting ceremony and taiko drumming performance by the Uminari Taiko group. The first 300 customers in line will receive complimentary cookies from local Goodside Pastry House and free coffee from De Mello.

The first 100 shoppers will receive a custom UNIQLO-branded water bottle. Over the weekend, visitors can partake in the UNIQLO Garapon Wheel—a Japanese lottery game—where prizes include Instax Mini Cameras, more bottles, Pocky snacks, and other collectibles.

Limited-time offers and commemorative gifts with purchase make it a must-visit for both brand fans and newcomers. Product and Experience Offering a full range of LifeWear for men, women, kids, and babies, the Victoria location brings seasonally updated basics, signature silhouettes, and the popular UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) capsule.
