CJ Olive Young is investing in beauty consultants as part of its store-service model, using a dedicated training center in Seoul’s Seongsu district to turn product discovery into individual advice. The retailer says it has trained about 70 consultants to date, with 22 working at Olive Young Beauty Mansion Seongsu. Their remit covers skin assessment, makeup guidance and routines tailored to customers’ preferences rather than product recommendations alone.
