NIKE, Inc. has appointed Alexandre Arnault to its Board of Directors, adding the deputy CEO of LVMH’s Moët Hennessy division to the group overseeing the sportswear company’s next phase of growth. Arnault has held his current role since February 2025 and previously led product, communications and industrial activity at Tiffany & Co.
NIKE Executive Chairman Mark Parker said Arnault “has earned a reputation for helping iconic global brands evolve, innovate and grow in a changing, complex marketplace.” Parker added that the appointment reflects NIKE’s focus on “strong governance and thoughtful board succession.”
A board appointment with brand-building experience
NIKE President and CEO Elliott Hill said Arnault’s background in “innovation, digital transformation and brand building” would support the company as it strengthens its connection with consumers and sharpens its competitive edge. The company’s announcement positions that experience as relevant to both consumer relationships and long-term growth.
Arnault’s record spans several parts of the LVMH portfolio. At Tiffany & Co., he served as Executive Vice President of Product, Communications and Industrial, while at RIMOWA he helped lead the brand after LVMH’s acquisition and served as CEO for four years. Earlier, he worked in digital innovation and technology investment at LVMH and Agache.
For NIKE, the appointment brings a director with experience translating heritage brands into contemporary growth platforms across luxury, travel goods and jewelry. It also places brand strategy, digital transformation and portfolio-building experience directly inside the board’s succession and governance discussion. Arnault joins the board with immediate effect.
