Bottega Veneta Builds Its Summer 2027 Runway Around Lightness and Movement

On its official show page, Bottega Veneta describes the season through the shift from spring to summer in Milan, when layers come off and the way people move and dress changes. Early looks pair pale jackets and fluid skirts with textured hats and bags, while darker tailoring provides contrast.

The show extended the collection’s creative brief The pared-back set included resin-coated Karton Hocker seats by artist Illya Goldman Gubin, each with a handmade leather flower. Artist Florian Hecker created a site-specific sound installation, and British artist Mark Leckey supplied the soundtrack.

The creative team also included casting director Anita Bitton, hair stylist Guido Palau and make-up artist Dame Pat McGrath. The brand’s official collection presentation shows recurring light tailoring and materially expressive bags, rather than treating the bags as separate styling props.
