Dibs Beauty receives capital investment from L Catterton

Dibs Beauty, a rapidly growing beauty brand, has received a significant growth capital investment from L Catterton, a leading global consumer-focused investment firm. Launched in September 2021 by Tula Skincare founders Ken Landis and Dan Reich, along with Austin-based influencer Courtney Shields and former Chief Operating Officer of A-Rod Corp Jeff Lee, Dibs Beauty is a woman-and minority-owned brand that offers vegan, cruelty-free, and skin-loving makeup products.

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, the brand’s popular products include the Desert Island Duos and Status Sticks, which are designed to deliver quick and compelling transformations for busy beauty consumers.

Dibs Beauty focuses on making makeup fun again with uncomplicated color combos and ingredients while maintaining high-quality standards.

Since its launch, Dibs Beauty has experienced tremendous growth, selling out of their iconic Desert Island Duos six times and growing more than 450% year-over-year through direct-to-consumer sales on their website.

The brand launched with its first retailer, Revolve, in July 2022 and has been one of the fastest-growing beauty brands on their site. Additionally, the multi-purpose Duo Brush 15 has sold out multiple times since its launch in September 2022 and currently has a waitlist of over 50,000 people…
