Four Former CHANEL Staff Jailed Over HK$19 Million Luxury Theft

Four former employees of CHANEL’s Hong Kong warehouse have been sentenced to prison terms ranging from four to seven years in a case involving 724 luxury items valued at approximately HK$19 million. The Standard first reported the sentencing, bringing renewed attention to a 2017 theft involving merchandise that had already been removed from commercial sale and marked for destruction.
