GapStudio by Zac Posen Designs Costumes for Miami City Ballet’s Opus Jazz

Costume design as brand expression Gap said the costumes draw on GapStudio’s Fall 2026 collection and are built for movement. The collaboration gives Posen a theatrical setting for the line’s design language while placing GapStudio before an audience that may encounter it first through dance rather than a store or campaign. Export: Opus Jazz, first performed in 1958, is often associated with youth and street culture. Miami City Ballet’s official programme identifies the new GapStudio costumes and lists the work in a mixed bill running October 16–25.

The programme also includes George Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante and a new work by Patricia Delgado with music by Emily Estefan. GapStudio’s participation will be visible on stage when American Rhythms opens in Miami on October 16, with later performances scheduled through October 25.
