Emporio Armani brings British Prep to Fall/Winter 2026-27

Fall 2026 marks the first combined menswear–womenswear show for Emporio Armani. Silvana Armani and Leo Dell’Orco presented the collection together at Milan Fashion Week.

The decision to merge the lines was reportedly planned by Giorgio Armani himself “to ensure that once in stores the men’s and women’s lines would feel cohesive”.

On the runway, men and women pieces were deliberately mixed: designers say the show “across 108 silhouettes” reflects Armani’s “elegance, restraint and modernity” for both genders. Jackets, trench coats and even suits were swapped between models, highlighting a unified, gender-fluid wardrobe.

This fall/winter collection would remind you of British codes. Woolen Prince-of-Wales checks, houndstooth and subdued plaids appear on coats, vests and trousers. Even womenswear gives a “check jackets, aviator looks” look and mini skirts paired with double-breasted blazers seems private-school uniforms…
