lululemon Brings Nearly 10,000 Runners to Vancouver for SeaWheeze

lululemon brought SeaWheeze back to its hometown of Vancouver with nearly 10,000 runners from 24 countries, turning the revived half marathon into a weekend centred on movement, music and community. Nearly half of participants took on their first ever half marathon, while Sunset Festival drew almost 15,000 people to Stanley Park.

After a multi year break, the SeaWheeze Half Marathon returned to Vancouver on August 8, 2026. The 21.1-kilometre event gave lululemon the opportunity to bring runners, employees, ambassadors and supporters together in the city where the activewear company was founded.

SeaWheeze has always been more than a standard road race. The event mixes the challenge of a half marathon with a wider community experience, including course side cheer stations and a post race music festival. This year’s edition attracted participants from 24 countries, reflecting the international reach of an event deeply connected to Vancouver.
