lululemon Brings Nearly 10,000 Runners to Vancouver for SeaWheeze

ran SeaWheeze were participating in their first ever half marathon. For many, the race represented a major personal milestone rather than simply another event on a running calendar.

That first-time participation gives SeaWheeze a different energy, with runners taking on 21.1 kilometres for the first time alongside experienced racers and returning members of the event community. The race was also a destination event for many attendees.

Around half of registered runners came from Canada, while the other half travelled internationally. More than 70% of participants travelled to Vancouver for the weekend, helping turn SeaWheeze into a wider celebration of the city, its running culture and its waterfront setting.
