Majorica Opens Its First New Concept Boutique on Jaume III After 135 Years of Mallorcan Heritage

The boutique marks an important milestone for Majorica, which was founded in 1890 in Mallorca. For more than a century, the brand has been associated with organic pearls and jewellery craftsmanship, building a connection with the island that remains central to its story.

The new Palma store uses that local heritage as a starting point, translating it into an environment designed for the brand’s next phase of growth. The project was developed in collaboration with architects Marcos Catalán and Marta García Orte.

Their design draws from the character of traditional Mallorcan homes and the distinctive light of the Mediterranean, using these references to create a space that feels rooted in place while remaining contemporary.
