Pantone names Cloud Dancer as its 2026 Color of the Year

Pantone Color Institute leaders frame it as “a lofty white that serves as a symbol of calming influence in a society rediscovering the value of quiet reflection.” Pantone’s Color of the Year program, launched in 1999, has highlighted shades like Sand Dollar and Peach Fuzz in past years, but this is the first time in 26–27 years that a true white has taken the top spot.
