The Evolution of Man, everywhere The visual anchor is Evolution of Man, a seminal Vivienne Westwood archive print first shown in the Autumn‑Winter 2005/06 “Propaganda” collection, which plays on diagrams of human evolution with Westwood’s characteristic political edge. For J.
Sheekey, the print has been translated across illustrated coasters, engraved glassware, custom ceramics, terrace windows, table linens and staff accessories, creating a consistent but layered presence.
The effect is immersive but not overwhelming: the terrace retains its red awnings and classic brasserie atmosphere, but details a plate rim, a napkin, the glint of a glass all carry the Evolution of Man motif, inviting closer inspection.
