Burberry x Sir Quentin Blake: A New Capsule
Burberry has partnered with celebrated British illustrator Sir Quentin Blake on a capsule collection that channels his “distinctly British sense of imagination” into womenswear, menswear and childrenswear. The collaboration translates his unmistakable line drawings and playful storytelling into fashion, echoing the campaign message “Drawn to it” and spotlighted across Burberry’s Summer 2026 imagery.
At the heart of the collection are bold, hand drawn motifs featuring feather prints taken from an original 1971 pen-and-ink illustration for an English-language edition of The Birds by Aristophanes, alongside a new series of previously unreleased drawings of playful figures interacting with nature. Key Pieces and Design Details Trench coats remain the heroes of the capsule, cut from shower resistant tropical gabardine, the lightest of Burberry’s signature fabrics, and reimagined as canvases for Blake’s art.
The fit and flare Pembury trench is lined in printed silk, while the neat, narrow Foxfield trench showcases a tactile embroidered feather design, each finished with the Burberry Knight label signed by Sir Quentin Blake inside.
Beyond outerwear, printed silk runs through the collection in fluid separates, ruffled dresses, scarves and panelled knitted T shirts that showcase the illustrations in motion.
