ASICS House and JD Sports Turned a Soho Storefront Into a Culture Led Sneaker Lab
ASICS and JD Sports turned Greek Street into a chrome dipped playground with ASICS House, a first of its kind cultural pop up that fused Japanese design cues with Soho, London’s street energy.

For three days over the May Bank Holiday weekend, ASICS House took over the Black & White Shop at 59 Greek Street, Soho, W1D 3DZ, reimagining the space less as a store and more as an open, drop in “house” for the community. The team “turned Greek Street silver,” wrapping the interior in reflective chrome, metallic detailing and graphic lighting so the whole environment felt like stepping inside a polished sneaker sole.

The open plan layout invited people to flow through, hang out and return across the weekend, with programming that blended music, movement and wellness.
Across the three day takeover, JD Sports and ASICS hosted DJ sets, live performances and even a sound bath session, turning the house into a space where you could try on sneakers, stay for a set and discover the brand through experience rather than messaging.
