Abercrombie’s SoHo Comeback Store Where Heritage Design Meets Abbode Embroidery
Abercrombie & Fitch has a new address in New York City and it is a statement one. The brand has opened a flagship at 520 Broadway in SoHo, using the space to showcase what Abercrombie looks and feels like in 2026 and to reconnect with the city where it was founded more than 134 years ago.
A new home at 520 Broadway
The SoHo flagship opened on June 5, 2026, giving Abercrombie a ~10,000 square foot standalone store in one of Manhattan’s busiest shopping districts. Spread across three floors, the location is significantly larger than a typical mall unit and is described internally as “the ultimate expression of Abercrombie today” and the brand’s first ever flagship built around its new design concept.

in certain key doors. Opening hours run from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily, positioning the space as an all day destination for both locals and visitors.
Heritage meets modern retail design Inside, the flagship is designed around a “Heritage meets Modern” philosophy that links Abercrombie’s New York roots to its current positioning as an adult lifestyle brand for customers in their 20s through 40s.
References to early Abercrombie storefronts from its South Street origins to past Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue locations inform details like wood finishes, metalwork and archival imagery, while the overall palette, lighting and layout feel contemporary and minimal.
