Golden Goose Opens New Flagship Boutique on Passeig de Gracia Bringing its Perfectly Imperfect Luxury Sneakers
GOLDEN GOOSE has opened a new flagship boutique in Barcelona, expanding its presence in Spain with a standalone store on the city’s most prestigious luxury avenue, Passeig de Gràcia.
Flagship on Passeig de Gràcia
The new Golden Goose Barcelona flagship is located at Passeig de Gràcia 102–104, 08008 Barcelona, Spain, in the heart of the Eixample district’s prime luxury corridor. The store typically opens Monday to Saturday from 11:00am to 8:00pm, with Sunday trading closed, aligning with Barcelona’s high-street rhythm and neighbouring luxury houses.
This flagship adds to Golden Goose’s existing Barcelona presence via its El Corte Inglés Diagonal concession, giving the brand both a department store footprint and a dedicated street-front showcase in the city.
Strengthening Spanish and European footprint
Industry reports describe the opening as part of Golden Goose’s strategy to strengthen its presence in Barcelona and Spain, where it now operates boutiques in Madrid, Ibiza, Puerto Banús…
and Barcelona, alongside outlets in La Roca Village and other locations. By choosing Passeig de Gràcia, the brand positions itself among top tier luxury neighbours, reflecting its evolution from a cult sneaker label into a broader luxury lifestyle brand spanning footwear, apparel, accessories and bags.
Brand positioning and in-store experience Founded in Venice in 2000 by Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo, Golden Goose is known for its “perfectly imperfect” aesthetic: distressed finishes, hand-worked details and a strong link to Italian craft.
Recent flagships, such as the Madrid creative hub for Repair, Remake and Co Creation, show how the brand is turning stores into spaces for customisation and care, not just product display.
While detailed interior images of the Barcelona flagship are still limited, it sits within this broader direction using boutique environments to express Golden Goose’s mix of heritage, hand finished sneakers and contemporary fashion, and to anchor the brand more firmly in key European cities.
