The RealReal Adds Glendale Store to Its Southern California Resale Network

The store at 230 South Brand Boulevard will handle fashion, handbags, fine jewelry, watches and accessories. One-to-one consignment consultations and valuations give the company another physical point for sourcing inventory as well as selling it. The location joins its Melrose Avenue, Brentwood and Newport Beach stores.

“What’s so exciting about resale right now is that customers aren’t necessarily waking up thinking, ‘I’m going to shop pre-owned today.’ They’re simply shopping for something great,” said Samantha McCandless, chief merchandising officer of The RealReal.

“In a market as fashion-driven as Los Angeles, resale gives them access to an assortment no traditional retailer can replicate. There’s only one of each piece, and once it’s gone, it’s gone. That sense of discovery is incredibly powerful—and it makes shopping fun,” she added.

The expansion follows quarterly gross merchandise value of $617 million in the second quarter of 2026, up 22% year over year, according to the company. The announcement did not disclose the Glendale store’s size.
