New York Men’s Day closed its Spring/Summer 2027 presentations on September 10 with eight emerging labels and four first-time participants. Presented by PROJECT by Informa and COTERIE by Informa, the event’s 26th season brought menswear and genderless collections to the renovated Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan showroom at 770 11th Avenue.

According to the post-event recap distributed by Agentry PR, the program ran across morning and afternoon sessions, concluding at 6 p.m. The format put several independent brands within one venue, creating a concentrated point of discovery for the season’s menswear offer.

Four Labels Make Their NYMD Debut

The morning session featured Avon Anglers, OUILA, Clara Son and Alienant. Ethan Lewy, Science Project Company, big ocean x andy yu, and Christopher Lowman presented in the afternoon.

OUILA, Alienant, Ethan Lewy and big ocean x andy yu were identified as first-time NYMD participants. Alienant and big ocean x andy yu presented genderless collections, while the other six entries were listed as menswear. That mix gave the program both returning names and new perspectives within its eight-label lineup.

The supplied presentation images show distinct approaches to dressing: Christopher Lowman paired graphic outerwear with distressed denim, while Clara Son presented a pale, draped short-sleeve look with matching shorts. Ethan Lewy’s group presentation mixed relaxed tailoring, shorts and patterned shirts. At big ocean x andy yu, a white ensemble with decorative embellishment and a feathered hat offered a more theatrical counterpoint.

Trade-Show Partners Back Emerging Brand Discovery

PROJECT by Informa and COTERIE by Informa returned as presenting sponsors. Their involvement connects the presentation platform with businesses focused on brand discovery and industry relationships, placing emerging collections alongside names familiar to the fashion trade.

A multi-brand presentation makes it possible to compare several labels within the same day and setting. NYMD’s split schedule offered an organized introduction to the participating designers and their Spring/Summer 2027 collections.

Footwear, Fragrance and Jewelry Broaden the Sponsor Mix

Wolverine and KAYALI joined as new sponsors this season. The organizer’s materials highlighted Wolverine’s 1000 Mile footwear collection and KAYALI’s Vanilla | 28 fragrance, extending the product mix around the apparel presentations.

Men’s jewelry brand ANONYM made its NYMD debut with its first collection, comprising four diamond ring designs, a bracelet, a lapel pin and a pendant. Returning partner Vogel NYC highlighted Derby, Military, Roper and Chukka boots within its ICONS collection, with an artisan demonstration included in the event program.

Oribe Hair Care and Augment returned to support hair and makeup, respectively, while Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan again supplied the venue. Together, the partnerships put collection discovery alongside the products and services that help complete a fashion presentation.

The SS27 edition positioned emerging apparel within a wider wardrobe conversation. Footwear, jewelry and fragrance added complementary categories, while the eight-designer lineup kept independent creative businesses at the center of the event.
