Arc’teryx’s store design in Nanchang brings Jiangxi craft references into the outdoor brand’s familiar mountain vocabulary. Retail designer Alex Chen, who says he worked on the project, describes a space that combines inspiration from Jingdezhen ceramics and Chinese ink painting with rock formations, glacial movement and geological textures.
