MAC Brings Back Three Frost Lipstick Shades and Adds Ten More With Erin Parsons

MAC identifies Parsons as a longtime customer and an advocate for more Frost shades. Making her the campaign’s face connects the product’s return with someone who had publicly championed it.

An archive led assortment refresh Teny Kureghian, MAC’s Global Head of Product Development, linked the timing to renewed interest in frosted lips from the 1990s and early 2000s. “It felt like the perfect moment to revisit something that has always been authentically ours,” Kureghian said in the brand’s announcement.

The current Frost product page describes a semi lustrous, high pearl finish with medium, buildable coverage. The finish remains the range’s common identity as MAC introduces the new and returning colours.

The merchandising approach serves two audiences within the same launch: customers who recognize discontinued favourites and shoppers discovering the finish through Parsons. The three bring backs supply the connection to the archive, while ten new shades give the refresh a forward looking product component.
