MINISO Opens Its First U.S. MINISO LAND With a 15,000-Square-Foot Columbus Store

The store carries more than 5,500 stock-keeping units across collectibles, toys, home essentials, beauty and other lifestyle categories. Dedicated character-led areas include Hello Kitty and Friends and Disney merchandise, while an entrance zone features MINISO’s own YOYO character. The opening extends the company’s U.S.

expansion beyond store count into a larger, themed retail format. MINISO says its American network now exceeds 400 stores. Rather than a pop-up, Columbus introduces a large-format concept that combines licensed merchandise, product displays and spaces for customer interaction.

MINISO LAND launched in Shanghai in 2024 and has since expanded across China and overseas markets. The company positions the format within its strategy of pairing major entertainment properties with larger stores. The Columbus opening is its first U.S. MINISO LAND, not its first American store.
