Loro Piana Opens Four-Floor Omotesando Flagship in Tokyo

The curved tiles frame the entrance and use seven custom colours, including Loro Piana’s Kummel shade. As detailed in the house’s architectural announcement, tile production involved shaping and cutting the clay, three weeks of drying, firing, colouring and a second firing.

Making the tiles took more than three months within a project lasting over a year. The ground and first upper floors carry women’s clothing, accessories and leather goods. Home collections and appointment-only VIP rooms occupy the top floor, while menswear is on the basement level.

The basement also houses the Loro Piana Atelier, offering garment repairs and care. Interior details include oak woodwork, silk carpets and marble tables.
