Schwan Cosmetics Plans Seoul Hub to Bring Korean Skincare Into Makeup

The hub will connect local market research and work with Korean customers, suppliers and innovation partners to Schwan’s formulation teams and production network. The company says the aim is to shorten the path from skincare concepts, including active ingredients and longevity research, to color cosmetics with skincare benefits.

The move gives Schwan a local role in product development as well as manufacturing. Its existing global network includes an Asia sales office in Shanghai and operations in Tianjin, alongside sites in the Americas and Europe.

The company says it works with more than 700 clients and over 200 international suppliers and trend experts. Connecting Korean development partners to that wider network could let an ingredient or formulation concept reach multiple brand customers through the same supplier.
