Balenciaga’s Spring 27 Unsized Collection That Redefines Silhouette at 10 Avenue George V

BALENCIAGA’s Spring 27 collection, titled “Unsized, A Lightness Of Being,” is photographed by Robin Galiegue at 10 avenue George V in Paris, the historic address of the house and now home to its dedicated fragrance store. Unsized: the body as the starting point

The collection is built around the philosophical concept of “unsized” clothing: instead of imposing fixed forms, pieces are drawn around the human body and adjusted through ribbons of cloth, echoing Cristóbal Balenciaga’s belief that the body is the base for creation. Silhouette becomes a light architecture, shifting with movement and relying on the ebb and flow of minimized layers of fabric against the body rather than on strict tailoring.
