Gensmo, an up-and-coming AI-powered fashion tech startup, has raised more than $60 million in angel and seed funding—marking one of the largest early-stage investments in the fashion technology sector to date. The capital infusion comes less than a year after the company’s December 2024 launch and demonstrates strong investor confidence in Gensmo’s vision to reshape how consumers discover, try on, and shop for clothing online.

Founded and led by CEO Ning Hu—a former Google Mobile Search tech lead and Alibaba VP with a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Carnegie Mellon—Gensmo’s founding team unites veterans from both the AI and fashion worlds.
