Bastien Daguzan has announced his departure from the role of CEO and President at Jacquemus, the French luxury brand known for its modern aesthetic and independent spirit.

Jacquemus CEO exits

Bastien Daguzan has announced his departure from the role of CEO and President at Jacquemus, the French luxury brand known for its modern aesthetic and independent spirit. This news surprises many, given Daguzan’s relatively recent appointment to the position in May 2022.

Simon Porte Jacquemus, the founder and creative force behind the label, expressed gratitude towards Daguzan for his contributions. In a heartfelt statement, Jacquemus acknowledged Daguzan as a “driving force behind the business and its leadership,” wishing him well in his future endeavors.

Daguzan reciprocated this sentiment, thanking Jacquemus for the trust placed in him and reflecting on their incredible journey together. Daguzan’s tenure at Jacquemus was marked by strategic growth and expansion.

Under his leadership, the brand flourished, opening its first flagship store on Paris’ prestigious Avenue Montaigne in September 2022. The company also celebrated a milestone, reaching €200 million in sales for the year, with ambitions to double this figure by 2025.

Before joining Jacquemus, Daguzan had a successful five-year stint as the general manager of Paco Rabanne, where he also consulted with Jacquemus. His experience and managerial expertise were instrumental in steering Jacquemus through a period of rapid growth, which saw the brand’s sales more than double in 2021…
