Jaeger-LeCoultre Opens Shanghai’s Valley of Inventions Exhibition With 10 Limited-Edition Debuts

Jaeger-LeCoultre is using its Valley of Inventions exhibition in Shanghai to connect new watches with the engineering and craftsmanship behind them. The exhibition at Zhangyuan includes the global launch of 10 limited-edition timepieces, alongside demonstrations and interactive displays.

The brand confirms that the exhibition runs September 10–23, 2026, at Zhangyuan W4, Lane 188, Maoming North Road, Jing’an District. General admission is complimentary, daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with registration through its WeChat mini program or on arrival.

Making precision visible Four chapters examine different aspects of precision, while the High Precision Guarantee laboratory lets visitors explore simulations of the conditions used to test watches. Live demonstrations bring watchmaking skills into the exhibition space.

The installation uses contrasting gallery environments, illuminated watch displays and a dedicated ice-sculpture room to move between the house’s origins and its contemporary work. These settings give visitors a route through technical subjects that can be difficult to communicate through a product case alone…
