Jo Malone London has teamed with pet-care specialist WildWash on Orange & Cedarwood Dog Shampoo, extending its fragrance world into a new household category. The brand introduced the collaboration with a launch gathering at its Townhouse centered on dogs and their owners.

Video: Jo Malone London. A Specialist Partner for a New Category The shampoo is scented with essential oils and was created in collaboration with WildWash, according to Jo Malone London. The partnership brings a pet-care specialist into the product proposition rather than treating the new category as fragrance packaging alone.

At the Townhouse, guests discovered the shampoo before taking part in pet portraits, treats and gift-giving. The program translated a familiar beauty-launch format into activities designed around the animals using the product. Fragrance Moves Into Pet-Care Spending The commercial distinction is the category extension.

Jo Malone London is applying its scent-led identity to a product bought for a pet, with WildWash supplying the collaboration’s specialist pet-care association. The launch experience made that connection visible through grooming-related discovery and portraits.

It gives the fragrance brand another occasion to enter customers’ routines at home.
