Lacoste Turns Shopping Cidade Jardim Into a Fashion and Coffee Destination

Lacoste has opened its first Café Lacoste in Latin America at Shopping Cidade Jardim in São Paulo, extending the French brand’s universe beyond fashion and into gastronomy, hospitality and design. Located beside the Lacoste boutique, the new café is the third of its kind globally, following an initial test in Monaco and the first permanent location in Paris.

The opening, held on August 19, positions Brazil as a key market for Lacoste in the region. It also reflects a wider luxury and fashion retail shift, where brands are creating spaces that encourage customers to spend time with the brand outside the traditional shopping experience.

From Paris to São Paulo The São Paulo concept is inspired by the first permanent Café Lacoste in Paris, but the Brazilian location has its own local identity.

Sport, French heritage and Lacoste’s signature design references appear through the space, while the menu includes a coffee blend developed exclusively with Brazilian beans. The house blend is served as espresso and filter coffee.

The espresso has notes of honey and caramel, while the filtered option offers yellow-fruit notes, soft acidity and a medium body. The project uses coffee as a way to translate the brand into an everyday lifestyle experience…
