Lacoste and global brand ambassador Wang Yibo have returned with Journey With Yibo, their second collaborative collection for Fall/Winter 2026. Lacoste Japan announced the capsule on October 26, ahead of its October 29 rollout in selected Japanese stores and online.

The collection takes travel and correspondence as its starting point, linking René Lacoste’s journeys with Wang’s interest in exploration. Letters, envelopes and postmarks inform the details, including envelope-inspired flap pockets and a cable-knit cardigan incorporating the letters W, Y and B.
Lacoste says Wang contributed to silhouettes, materials and visual identity. The assortment combines striped knit polos, outerwear, hats and Baseshot Pro sneakers, with gray, neutral and green tones. A two-way raincoat has a removable hood, while a detachable woven label recalls Wang’s kicking pose from the brand’s 2024 Play Big campaign.
The collaboration gives an ambassador relationship a product-development role. Its significance lies in translating a recognisable personality into recurring design details and a coordinated wardrobe, rather than relying on campaign visibility alone.
Lacoste’s Japanese collection page lists men’s and women’s Baseshot Pro sneakers at ¥20,350, a water-repellent coach jacket at ¥66,000 and a two-way quilted down jacket at ¥88,000, including tax. These are Japan-market prices.
The release follows Lacoste’s October 22 Shanghai runway presentation, where the brand also highlighted Wang’s creative involvement. The Journey With Yibo announcement provides a closer look at the collaboration’s products and Japanese retail rollout.
