Miu Miu Extends Women’s Tales With Claire Denis Film and Planned MUBI Release

The film stars Suzanne Lindon and Kim Gordon, who also created its score. Miu Miu says Avec Kim will appear on its own digital channels and later stream globally on MUBI. That distribution path gives the project a life beyond a festival event and connects the fashion house’s filmmaking program to a film-focused audience.

A long-running content platform Women’s Tales has become one of Miu Miu’s most recognizable cultural formats: each commission hands a female filmmaker room to interpret femininity and dress through her own visual language.

Denis describes the camera as her “most important choreographer,” a useful way to understand the new film’s emphasis on movement and character rather than a conventional product showcase. The Venice presentation also functioned as a fashion moment.
