Nadira Singh has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Hudson's Bay, effective May 2, 2022. Hudson's Bay, a Canadian store operation under HBC, is delighted to welcome the accomplished and performance-driven executive to their team. With over 15 years of experience in finance, project planning, and process transformation, Ms. Singh has a proven track record of developing strategies that drive financial and operational excellence.
Wayne Drummond commented, “As we evolve our stores to be destinations of discovery for our customers, I am delighted to welcome Nadira to the Hudson’s Bay team. I know she will be a tremendous leader in helping drive our strategy to deliver results.”
Prior to joining Hudson's Bay, Nadira Singh held the position of Vice President of Finance at Ontario Power Generation. She also served in various leadership roles at Ernst & Young, where she led Financial Account and Reporting, Corporate Governance and Training, and Assurance Services during her tenure with the firm.
As the Chief Financial Officer of Hudson's Bay, Ms. Singh will be responsible for directing and overseeing the financial activities of the corporation, preparing current financial reports and summaries, and creating forecasts predicting future growth. She will report directly to Wayne Drummond, the President of Hudson's Bay.
