On Opens Its First Austrian Store as It Expands Across Vienna, Munich and Düsseldorf

The Vienna site brings footwear, apparel and accessories together in the city’s seventh district. Its design references Jugendstil colors, Otto Wagner’s facades and the weathered green copper of Vienna’s rooftops, according to the brand’s announcement.

Jessie Ayala, Lead Facilities Manager, EMEA at On, described the work behind the historic-building adaptation: “Bringing a historic building into its next chapter meant protecting what made it special, while getting the details right across design, compliance, and operation.” Ayala also described Vienna as part of a growing portfolio of distinctive spaces across EMEA, emphasizing the coordination between design, construction, facilities and retail teams needed to bring the location into operation.

On positions its own stores alongside premium wholesale partners, rather than as a replacement for them. The format gives the brand a physical setting for its full product range and direct community engagement. The rollout continues on October 15 with a store at Theatinerstrasse 38 in Munich.
