Paris Hilton and X Join Forces to test Live Shopping

X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, has announced a strategic partnership with global celebrity and entrepreneur, Paris Hilton. The collaboration, officially unveiled in October 2023, aims to promote X’s innovative ‘live shopping’ feature, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of online retail.

Paris Hilton, who boasts a staggering 16.6 million followers on X, will leverage her influential status to create original content that promotes live shopping and live video on the platform. As part of the agreement, Hilton will produce four unique video programs annually for the next two years.

These programs will encompass a variety of themes, including live shopping broadcasts and Spaces chats, among others. The concept of ‘live shopping’ is a transformative marketing strategy combining live video’s power with the convenience of online shopping.

It allows influencers or celebrities like Hilton to promote products through real-time videos, creating an interactive shopping experience for viewers. This innovative approach boosts brand visibility and significantly enhances customer engagement and interaction.

X’s live shopping feature offers a seamless user experience where viewers can watch a live-streamed video, chat with others, and shop simultaneously.
