Schiaparelli’s Redesigned Bergdorf Goodman Salon Turns The Fourth Floor Into a Sculptural Space of Beveled Mirrors Lacquered Wood and Satin Steel Fireplace

A new chapter at Bergdorf Goodman The new salon is located on the fourth floor of Bergdorf Goodman, in a 110 square metre space that replaces Schiaparelli’s original retail area, which opened in 2021.

Positioned as an immersive experience of the surrealist Maison, it strengthens the house’s presence in New York while echoing its Parisian home at 21 Place Vendôme, where Elsa Schiaparelli first established her salon in 1935 and where the revived Maison is based today.

From Bergdorf’s vantage point, the salon literally sits above Central Park, framing Schiaparelli’s sculptural creations against one of Manhattan’s most iconic views.shopping.
