Bvlgari has marked a key milestone in its Scuola Bvlgari initiative, celebrating the completion of the School’s first academic year in June 2026 and reinforcing its long term commitment to nurturing the next generation of jewelry artisans in Valenza, Italy. Located inside the Bvlgari Manifattura, the world’s largest single brand precious jewelry manufacturing site, the School welcomed 80 students from 11 nationalities in its inaugural intake, all enrolled in specialized programs in goldsmithing and precious stone setting.
Scuola Bvlgari: a school inside the Manifattura
Scuola Bvlgari is described by the Maison as its first school entirely dedicated to jewelry and open to all, developed in collaboration with TADS (Tarì Design School). The School sits within the expanded Manifattura Bvlgari in Valenza, a facility that revives and advances the goldsmithing heritage of the region while integrating sustainability and innovation in production.
Two core professional paths are offered:
Goldsmithing course a long…
form program of around 1,680 hours over approximately 20 months, covering soldering, bending, polishing, lost‑wax casting, technical design and 3D rendering. Precious stone setting (gem-setting) course a shorter 600‑hour program focused on pavé, claw, bezel and prong settings, supported by gemological study.
Training takes place on-site in specialized laboratories equipped with production-grade tools, and is led by master goldsmiths, gemologists and industry professionals.
