Thom Browne‘s Spring 2026 runway collection, the one that sent aliens down the Paris Fashion Week catwalk, has made its way off the runway and into some of the season’s most talked about magazine editorials. The collection is now available in stores and at thombrowne.com, and the fashion world is clearly paying attention.
The Face: True Whitaker
The first editorial placement came in The Face magazine, where True Whitaker, daughter of actor Forest Whitaker, was shot wearing a Thom Browne jacket and skirt from the Spring 2026 runway. Photographed by Ari Marcopoulos and styled by Sahir Ahmed and Hollie Williamson, the story captured True‘s world through an LA lens, placing Browne‘s signature tailored structure, twisted shoulders, precise pleating, against the sun-soaked ease of her surroundings.
Interview Magazine: Grimes
The biggest editorial splash came courtesy of Grimes, who wore Thom Browne Spring 2026, specifically a shirt, skirt, tie, belt, and shoes from the collection, for Interview Magazine‘s Spring 2026 issue. Shot at the Julia Stoschek Foundation at the Variety Arts Theater in Los Angeles, the story accompanied a conversation between Grimes and sci-fi author Nnedi Okorafor, marking the musician’s return with a new record. The pairing of Browne‘s paranormal proportions with Grimes‘ ongoing fascination with AI and the cosmic felt almost too on-brand to be coincidental.
Mojeh Magazine: Look 51
Rounding out the editorial trio was Mojeh Magazine, which featured Look 51 from the Thom Browne Spring 2026 runway, one of the collection’s most striking silhouettes, featuring the house’s iconic grey tailoring deconstructed into starbursting hems and shifted geometry. Mojeh had already covered the runway extensively in October 2025, calling the show a collection that took “fashion to new heights.”
The Collection Itself
Presented in Paris in October 2025, the Thom Browne Spring 2026 show was one of the season’s defining moments, built around the theme of a “close encounter,” with alien headpieces, colour blocked tailoring, cropped cricket sweaters, and drop waist skirts that looked as though they had been pulled through a wormhole. Guests, including Anna Wintour, Law Roach, Rachel Zegler, FKA Twigs, and Davido, were in attendance. Now, as the collection lands in stores and editorial shoots, it is proving that Browne‘s cosmic vision translates just as powerfully off the runway as it does on it.
