The concept takes its cues from Milan’s design heritage, California’s creative spirit and Vans’ roots in skateboarding, music, art and street culture.

Inside, Andrea Caputo Studio reinterprets the brand’s latest flagship language, previously tested in London’s West End, through a warmer, more expressive lens tailored to the Milanese context. The result is an interior that feels grounded in Brera’s gallery lined streets yet still unmistakably Vans.

Warm gradients, sunset inspired tones and diffused lighting are used throughout to echo the changing California sky, creating a soft, immersive atmosphere that stands apart from more industrial sneaker environments.

Materials and textures are chosen to invite people to stay, not just shop, with the ground floor dedicated to the core retail offer and an upper level reserved for community uses. At the centre of the store is a modular fixture system that allows the space to be continually reconfigured…
