Macy’s Launches Small-Store Format Market By Macy’s

On August 19, 2022, Macy’s opened its third off-mall store format, Market by Macy’s, in the metro-Atlanta area. As of February 20, 2023, there are 508 Macy’s retail stores across the United States, with California having the highest number of locations at 90 stores.

The company also operates department stores under the nameplates Bloomingdale’s and specialty stores such as Bloomingdale’s The Outlet, Bluemercury, and Macy’s Backstage.

Market by Macy’s offers a wide range of products, including apparel for men, women, and children, housewares, home textiles and decor, cosmetics, hair and nail care, gifts, jewelry, shoes, designer handbags, accessories, and activewear. Customers can find best-selling brands like Pattern Beauty, I.N.C.
