Beyond Yoga has opened a store in Scottsdale, Arizona, and a four-month pop-up in New York City, pairing two retail openings with new approaches to staffing and execution. Danielle Zingler, the brand’s head of stores, outlined the operational milestones behind both locations.

Talent Development Supports a New Market Zingler said Scottsdale marked the first time Beyond Yoga had transferred an existing store manager into a new market. She connected that move to the company’s work on talent development and succession planning.

The transfer gives the opening a people-development dimension alongside its geographic expansion. It puts an experienced manager into a new market while creating a concrete example of progression within the store organization.
