Delvaux has unveiled an installation with Belgian artist Hans Op de Beeck at its Arsenal in Brussels. Titled Hold the Time, Share the Time, Calmly Cheer Up!, the project places the leather house’s handbags in a sculptural environment inside the site that houses its headquarters and atelier.

The collaboration draws a direct line between the making of an artwork and the making of a bag. Delvaux presents both as objects shaped by time, skilled work and attention to detail. Images of the installation show monochrome figures and settings alongside handbags rather than a conventional product-only display.
The Arsenal setting matters to the brand’s presentation. Delvaux has previously used its Brussels workshop and its history as a basis for art-and-craft projects, including its collaboration with the Saul Steinberg Foundation. Bringing Op de Beeck’s work into that environment makes the production space part of the brand story.
