FENDI has marked a major milestone in its retail transformation journey with ARES, its new supply chain retail engine, being selected as a finalist and awarded in the Operations & Corporate pillar at the LVMH Business of Tomorrow Cup 2026. Developed in house, ARES is reshaping how the brand manages inventory across its global network, with one clear goal: ensuring the right FENDI product is in the right store at the right time.

At its core, ARES combines advanced analytics, automation and smart algorithms to turn a traditionally complex, manual process into an intelligent, near real-time system.

The engine continuously reads sales patterns, demand signals and store needs to identify sales opportunities, optimize stock rebalancing and design smarter transfer strategies.

Tasks that once took teams days analysing sell through, deciding what to move, where and when are now resolved in minutes, freeing up time and making decisions more precise. The impact is already visible across FENDI’s retail network.
