Mango starts its expansion in Canada with eight stores

Mango, a leading European fashion group, has launched its first Canadian flagship store at Yorkdale Shopping Centre and plans to open seven additional stores before July. The company's first location in the country is located in a prominent corner location facing Hudson's Bay and Harry Rosen with all the newest woman's collections.

Mango's expansion plans in North America are part of the company's agreement with Fox Group, which was signed last year for 10 years with an extension to additional 10 years subject to a minimum of at least 20 new stores in the next ten years.

"We are thrilled to lunch Mango in Canada and to bring all the latest European trends and collections to the Canadian market. I am sure the Canadian woman will fall in love and adopt Mango's fashion. The brand will provide an international shopping experience and connect the Canadian consumer to the world's leading fashion trends. We foresee the opening of more stores throughout the country and expanding in the future," said Dana Terner, Mango CEO at Fox Group in a press release.

To expand its distribution in the country, Mango has drawn up a development plan that combines points of sale in prime shopping streets and malls with department stores. The company also has an online store on mango.com and several other platforms.
